1 – Program overview

This external quality assessment program is designed to assess blood alcohol tests prescribed in a clinical setting. It evaluates the performance of enzymatic methods using different concentration levels and compares the results with the chromatographic method (GC).

The goal of this program is to assess the accuracy of the results.

Longitudinal studies are carried out over several years to assess the popularity of the methods and their respective performances. Guidance and recommendations are issued with the results of these studies.
