1 – Program overview

This external quality assessment program evaluates the accuracy of HbA1c assays. Results are reported and processed statistically both in % (NGSP unit) and mmol/mol (IFCC unit).

This program includes a survey proposed by a European EQA program.

This program is not suitable for analysers Afinion from ABBOTT, possibility of registering for the Point of care testing program - Biochemistry / Haematology option (BDB).

• HbA1c (% and IFCC)

4 – Description of the control samples

Human control blood in lyophilised form (samples to be resuspended in 0.3 or 0.5 mL of NaCl 0.9%).
