1 - Scheme Overview

This scheme is intended to assess automated systems used to determine blood gases, as well as the other urgent analytes measured with these analyzers.

Participating labs can choose to be assessed for all the analytes of this scheme, or simply a subset of analytes of interest.

For this scheme, a single kit is used to assess one analyzer only. To assess a second analyzer, you will need to register for an additional kit

Not suitable for Opti-CCA analyzers from OPTIMEDICAL SYSTEM.

4 - Description of the Control Samples

Liquid control solutions in ampoules (ready-to-use samples).
