1 – Scheme overview

ATTENTION ! This control ends in June 2024. Ordering of control products possible until the end of March 2024 at the latest.

The target values and acceptable limits for each peer group are defined based on the previous year’s EQA schemes provided at the beginning of the year.

To assess serum proteins, we offer 2 serums of human origin allowing the control of proteins and protein electrophoresis.

Control samples are CE marked in accordance with European directive 98/79 EC and French law.

Samples are provided in kits of 10 vials, which once resuspended, contain 3 mL of serum.

3 – Description of the control samples

Lyophilized human control serums. Samples are to be resuspended in 3 mL of distilled water.

Expiry date of the IQCs - Biochemistry Serum 2024: 2024-06

4 – Storage of reconstituted samples

• 5 days from +2°C to +8°C for all the analytes
• 14 days from -18°C to -25°C, frozen in aliquots
