|IQC 2023 - Clinical Chemistry (CQPS)|
Expert Biologists - Scheme Coordinators:
Estelle BUGNI and Bernard POGGI
IQC performed since 1973
Number of participating laboratories in 2021 :26
1 – Scheme overview
The target values and acceptable limits for each peer group are defined based on the previous year’s EQA schemes provided at the beginning of the year.
Each month, we externally process your IQC data (individual calculations) using the acceptable limits for trueness and imprecision.
You can enter your results (N, mean and CV only) directly on our website.
To assess serum proteins, we offer 2 serums of human origin allowing the control of proteins and protein electrophoresis.
Control samples are CE marked in accordance with European directive 98/79 EC and French law.
|AE01||For the assesment of proteins (iron included for the determination of the transferrin saturation level)
at low concentration levels
|AE02||For the assesment of proteins (iron included for the determination of the transferrin saturation level)
at high levels
Samples are provided in kits of 10 vials, which once resuspended, contain 3 mL of serum.
2 – List of analytes assessed
27 analytes can be assessed:
3 – Description of the control samples
Lyophilized human control serums. Samples are to be resuspended in 3 mL of distilled water.
